Q. Does the BARKBATH Dual Use work on small dogs or dogs with hair instead of fur?
A. Yes! For best results, we recommend that the dog be 15 lbs. or more. The BARKBATH Dual Use was built to be customizable for dogs with all lengths and types of hair or fur.
Q. What shampoo options are available?
A. There are 7 no-rinse shampoos; Clean & Fresh (mulberry Scent), Free & Clear (scent & color-free), Odor & Skunk (unscented, but tough enough to remove strong odors like skunk), Oatmeal, Vitamin E, White Tea & Aloe, and Honey Blossom.
Q. Why no-rinse shampoos?
A. No-rinse shampoos are becoming the norm as people want a quick clean. We use a formula like what has been used in hospitals for more than 40 years. This type of shampoo has also been used on tens of thousands of dogs at international dog spas.
Q. How many washes will I get out of one bottle of shampoo?
A. It depends on how dirty you dog is and the thoroughness of the wash, but usually you can wash an 80 lb. dog 4-6 times with our 16 oz. bottles and 5-8 times with our 20 oz. bottles.
Q. My dog is scared of the vacuum. How can I get them comfortable with the BARKBATH Dual Use?
A. It comes with a sound-dampening mat and an 8-foot hose, so you can keep the machine farther away from your dog. We also spoke with a professional groomer for tips on how to get dogs acquainted with the BARKBATH, you can find it in the video above.
